The Buskirk Bluffs are cliffs in East Antarctica Victoria Land . They tower up in the Anare Mountains on the west side of the McMahon Glacier .
Participants of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) named the cliffs after Major Harvey Buskirk (1935-2004) of the United States Air Force , official American observer in the ANARE campaign in 1962, during which this area was explored.
