The Bussey Glacier is a glacier in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows from Mount Peary in a westerly direction to the Graham Coast and flows into the head end of Waddington Bay .
The glacier was first mapped during the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcots . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1959 after John Bussey (1895-1979) of the Royal Air Force , head of air operations for the British Directorate of Overseas Surveys (DOS).
