The Butler nunatakkers are a small group of nunatakkers in the Framnes Mountains in East Antarctica Mac Robertson Land . They rise up immediately north of the Tvitoppen .
They were mapped on the basis of surveys carried out from 1954 to 1962 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions' campaigns . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them in 1968 after William J. Butler, who was the chief diesel engine mechanic at Mawson Station in 1967.
