Butterlake

Butterlake is a residential area in the north of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel between the Hohenstücke district and the Bohnenland residential area . It is named after Butter Laake , a former wetland used intensively for agriculture in an ice age meltwater channel. The residential area is characterized by homes and weekend houses. It is connected via the city bus line C of the Brandenburg an der Havel GmbH (VBBr) transport company and the regional bus line 570 of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Belzig  mbH (VGB).
