The Buttress Hill ( English for pillar hill ) is a 690 m (according to the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee 650 m ) high hill with rocky cliffs on the west flank and a flattened summit in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Tabarin Peninsula, it rises 3 km east of the northernmost hill of the Seven Buttresses .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) mapped it in 1946 and named it after its geographical proximity to the Seven Buttresses group.
