Bye Bye Bicycle is a Swedish indie pop band that has been based in Gothenburg since 2007 . In the same year, the debut EP Westside was released on Cloudberry Records . The debut album Compass was released in August 2009 on Bonjour Recordings . Haby Bay was released as a single from the album. The band's defining musical element is the melodious Scandinavian-style indie pop, as embodied by bands such as The Mary Onettes , Shout Out Louds , Cats on Fire and Northern Portrait .
The second album had the working title "International Business Machine"; publication was planned for the end of 2011. A not yet named single should be released in August 2011 in advance. In fact, the second album, entitled Nature, was n't released until 2012 on Headstomp Records.
