The Bynum Peak is a mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains it rises 5 km southeast of Mount Finley above the northern flank of the McGregor Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Gaither Daniel Bynum Jr., a satellite geodesist at McMurdo Station in 1965.
