Ernst Günter Wenzler
Ernst Günter Wenzler (born May 16, 1954 in Geisingen ) is a German Protestant theologian , longtime community inspector of the South German community association and author.
Live and act
After training as an industrial clerk, Wenzler studied Protestant theology at the Liebenzeller Mission's theological seminar from 1973 to 1978 . Between 1978 and 1991 he worked as federal warden for the youth association Decided for Christ of the South German Community Association (SV / EC). In 1995 he graduated from Columbia International University with an " MA in Biblical Studies". Between 1991 and 2001 he worked as a community advisor. After that he was head of community housing in the South German Community Association and member of the board of directors until 2004. From 2005 until his retirement in 2019 he was their community inspector and board member for personnel and community building.
He was a visiting professor for practical theology of the CTL cooperation and a visiting professor for homiletics at the Liebenzell International University . He is a guest lecturer at the Bibelstudienkolleg Ostfildern and member of the leadership group of the Ludwig-Hofacker-Vereinigung , author of Christian books and editor of the missionary magazine " Moment mal ", which is published jointly by the Liebenzeller Community Association , the South German Community Association and the Brunnen Verlag (Giessen) .
Ernst Günter Wenzler has been married to Waltraud Peters since 1979. The couple has two children and moved from Stuttgart- Bad Cannstatt to Balingen in 2020 .
