Cássio Alves de Barros (born January 17, 1970 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
Career
The defender spent his first years in football at various clubs in Brazil, including CR Vasco da Gama and FC Santos . Until he moved to the 2. Bundesliga for the Stuttgarter Kickers in 1999 .
After the 2000/01 season he left the Kickers and returned to his home country and played at Goiás EC and America FC (RJ) until 2002 before ending his career as a footballer.
