Martinez first skied at the age of three and competed in her first speed ski competition at the age of eight on the famous Chabrière in Vars . In 2008 she was accepted into the French speed ski team and in the following years started mainly in the SDH and SDH Junior classes . At the 2013 World Cup she won the silver medal in the SDH .
For the 2015 season she switched to the S1 class (also known as the professional class). Here, too, there were quick successes. Although she narrowly missed the podium at the following World Championships, she achieved second place in the overall World Cup in 2017 and 2018 . In the last race of the 2018 season, she also celebrated her first World Cup victory in the S1 class.
