Celine Minard

Celine Minard (born 1969 in Rouen ) is a French writer.

Life

Celine Minard studied philosophy and then worked as a bookseller. She stayed temporarily in the USA and lives in Paris.

In her first novel, Minard and a literary great-nephew of the French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau followed a path that Rousseau had embarked on in his youth.

In her books the author shows a wide range of topics, genres and narrative styles. Her novels Le Dernier Monde are about an astronaut returning to a now deserted earth, Bastard Battle is about an Asian swordsman in medieval Chaumont , and in the western Faillir être flingué the orphaned Indian girl "flowing across the plain" joins her.
