César André Lima Fonte (born December 10, 1986 ) is a Portuguese road cyclist .
Athletic career
César Fonte finished second overall at the Volta ao Portugal do Futuro in 2007 and he won a stage at the Volta à Madeira. In the 2009 season he finished second overall at the Vuelta a Navarra . Fonte has been driving the Portuguese Continental Team Efapel-Glassdrive since 2010 . In his second year there, he won one stage each and was second overall at the Grande Prémio Abimota and the Vuelta a Tenerife. He also won the one-day races Circuito da Malveira and Circuito de Nafarros. At the Volta ao Algarve he was first in the points classification. In the 2012 season, Fonte won the third stage of the Volta a Portugal . In 2018 he won a stage of the Volta Internacional Cova da Beira and came in second in the overall ranking of the tour.
