César Suárez (born September 15, 1968 in Mexico City ), also known by the nickname Chispa , is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .

career

"Chispa" Suárez began his professional career in the 1991/92 season at Club Atlante, which was still based in the capital at the time, and won the Mexican football championship with the Potros in his second season in 1992/93 .

In 1994 Suárez moved to Deportivo Toluca and came back to the capital for the 1996/97 season, this time playing for Cruz Azul and winning the cup competition with the Cementeros . He then had his longest stint from 1997 to the end of his career in 2001 at Atlético Celaya .
