Celestine Recla

Cölestin Recla (born March 7, 1842 in Sarnonico , Nonstal , Austrian Empire ; † December 2, 1908 in Untermais , Merano , Austria-Hungary ) was a builder in Merano. Its buildings shape the face of the city to this day and are partly under monument or ensemble protection.

Life

Recla first worked with the architect Karl Moeser before planning and realizing villas himself. Its buildings are assigned to historicism . In 1908 his colleague Eduard Hofele took over the construction company, who named it “C. Recla, builder ”continued.
