CC Stevens
Charles Cyril Stevens (born March 31, 1907 in Andover , Hampshire , England , † July 13, 1974 in Sutton Green , Surrey , England) was a British sound engineer who was nominated for an Oscar for best special effects at the 1943 Academy Awards .
Life
Stevens began his career as a sound engineer in the film industry in 1933 for the film Up for the Derby and worked in the course of his career until 1967 in the production of nearly ninety films.
At the Academy Awards in 1943 he was nominated together with Ronald Neame for the Oscar for the best special effects for the film One of Our Aircraft Is Missing (1942).
