CE Bernard

CE Bernard (born 1990 ) is the pseudonym of a German author of fantasy novels who also publishes writings under her real name Christine Lehnen .

Life

Christine Lehnen grew up in Recklinghausen . She studied English and political science and did an MA at the Sorbonne in 2016 . She also played amateur theater and staged plays with the Bonn University Shakespeare Company . She published short stories. Lehnen has been teaching literary writing at the University of Bonn since 2014 .

Under the pseudonym Christine Elizabeth Bernard, she submitted a novel manuscript to German publishers. When this did not work, she wrote another manuscript of a novel in English and found an agent in London for it . The first part of the Palace of Glass trilogy, which has now been translated into German, was published in 2018 . Parts two and three were also printed in quick succession. The novel will also appear in a Turkish translation.
