The CADEAUX Leipzig is a trade fair for gift and home trends. It is held twice a year - in spring and autumn - at the new Leipzig Exhibition Center .

history

From May 23 to 26, 1992 the first CADEAUX Leipzig took place as a "gift exhibition" in the exhibition center and the exhibition center on the market . It was a typical example of the new concept of the Leipziger Messe , instead of the previous universal trade fairs, now target group-oriented trade fairs with a direct link to the region. 292 exhibitors and around 2500 trade visitors took part in the first event.

In view of the positive development in the number of exhibitors and the area, CADEAUX moved to the site of the technical fair in the spring of 1994. In Halls 11 and 15 it occupied a total of 18,000 m². In March 1996 it was the very last event on the 76 year old exhibition grounds; after that, the trade fair on Prager Strasse was officially ended. Since autumn 1996 the CADEAUX has taken place twice a year at the new exhibition center in the north of Leipzig .

CADEAUX Leipzig presents accessories for the home and the laid table, floristry accessories, handicrafts, gourmet gifts, paper goods, party decorations and wellness items. The most important exhibitors include manufacturers of wood art from the Ore Mountains. You are hosting your largest presentation in Leipzig. The trade fair is aimed at traders, especially from the retail sector.

A total of 475 exhibitors and brands presented their new collections in March 2018. With 11,800 visitors, the specialist events increased the result from spring 2017 (11,400 visitors).
