CBN (* 1987 in St. Gallen , actually Sinan Stäheli ) is a Swiss dialect - Rapper .

Life

CBN started rapping in his hometown of St. Gallen in the early 2000s. At first he was part of the B-Killa Soundsystem crew. In 2004 they released a joint album called Session 04 .

In 2006 his first solo release appeared with the mix tape Vo Engel und Maschinegwehr , which made him known outside his canton for the first time . In 2008 the second mixtape Poetry and Schnaps followed . He becomes a member of the Eldorado FM crew .

His first official album Papillon followed in 2009 as an in-house production. It entered the charts for the first time with the crew album Luke mir si di Vater , which reached number 2 in the Swiss charts. His second album Tourist followed in 2016 , again as an in-house production. The album reached number 10 on the Swiss album charts.

On April 20, 2018, Kaspar Melchior Balthasar was released , a collaboration album with Dezmond Dez and Tommy Vercetti , which reached number 1 in the Swiss charts.

Music genre

CBN raps in the St. Gallen dialect and has a selected, demanding vocabulary. His texts are often kept cryptic and poetic.

Private life

CBN studied law and currently lives in Zurich.
