It started on June 12, 1987 on CBS and was broadcast in the summer months (June to September) until August 22, 1989. It consists of a total of 46 episode films , which are divided into three seasons.

concept

During the first season the show was hosted by Tim and Daphne Maxwell Reid . At the beginning of the episode, the two presented the respective pilot episode and the viewer was able to vote on them at the end with a freephone number. The pilot episode, which received enough votes, should still be produced as a series. However, none of the episodes shown could achieve this.

The broadcast was revised for the second and third seasons and from then on no longer contained any moderation or voting.
