CCL9

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

CCL9 ( English CC-chemokine ligand 9 ) is a cytokine belonging to the family of the C-C chemokines .

properties

CCL9 is involved in inflammatory processes. It is caused by lymph follicle- associated tissue such as B. formed around Peyer's plaques and binds dendritic cells via their integrin alpha M (synonym CD11b ) and the chemokine receptor CCR1 . CCL9 activates osteoclasts through their CCR1 receptor. CCL9 is constitutively produced by macrophages and myeloid cells. CCL9 was also known as CCL10.
