CCL7 ( English CC-chemokine ligand 7 ) is a cytokine belonging to the family of the C-C chemokines .

properties

CCL7 is involved in inflammatory processes. It is made by monocytes and some tumor cell lines. CCL7 and CCL2 (synonymous MCP1) have the greatest homology . CCL7 binds to the matrix metalloprotease MMP2 .
