The UET United Electronic Technology AG (formerly CFC Industrial Holdings AG ) is a publicly traded holding company operates with headquarters in Eschborn, which as a technology holding company for medium-sized industrial companies. It emerged from a consulting company founded in 2003. The company went public in 2006. The share is listed on the Basic Board. At the beginning of 2010 the company was converted from a GmbH & Co. KGaA to a stock corporation. In 2012 it was renamed UET United Electronic Technology AG , the company's focus changed from investment management to industrial holding and the company's headquarters were relocated from Dortmund to Eschborn .

The UET Group operates in its core business area Systems with the brand albis-elcon , under which products and solutions for copper and fiber optic broadband access, remote feed systems, network management and Internet-based television (IPTV / OTT) are developed and used for operators of telecommunication networks are manufactured. The head office is in Hartmannsdorf near Chemnitz. It employs over 320 professionals in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Brazil and Mexico.

The area emerged from the merger of the activities of the Germany-based ELCON Systemtechnik and the Swiss company ALBIS Technologies. The roots of albis-elcon go back to the middle of the 20th century, when ALBIS was part of Siemens Switzerland and the predecessor company of ELCON belonged to the GDR combine Robotron. In 1990 ELCON Systemtechnik GmbH was privatized. On July 1, 1993, the former VEB Goldpfeil factory in Hartmannsdorf, Saxony, was taken over. From this point on, electronic assemblies and devices for telecommunications and the automotive industry were developed and produced in the branch. It has been part of the UET group of companies since 2007. In 2015, ALBIS was incorporated into the UET after being spun off from Siemens in 2008.

The systems from albis-elcon guarantee the operation of networks and services in over 40 countries. More than 50 international operators of telecommunications networks, such as Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telecom Italia, Telefónica and Telekom Austria, have used over 13 million branded network devices to date.
