Billund Kirke

Grene Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Slavs Herred in the then Ribe office , then to the Billund municipality in the expanded Ribe office , which was merged into the "new" Billund municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

7,028 inhabitants live in the parish, 6,662 of them in the city of Billund , the seat of the Billund municipality (as of January 1, 2020). The churches "Billund Kirke" and "Grene Kirke" are located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Vorbasse Sogn in the south, Hejnsvig Sogn in the south-west, Grindsted Sogn in the west and Filskov Sogn in the north-west , and Ringive Sogn in the neighboring Vejle municipality to the east , Lindeballe Sogn in the east and Randbøl Sogn in the south-east.
