The CZW 127 is an anti-materiel rifle from the Czech manufacturer Czech Weapons (ČZW), a subsidiary of Česká zbrojovka in Uherský Brod , in the 12.7 × 108 mm caliber .
description
The CZW 127 is a recoil charger with a patented delayed mass lock with leverage. According to the manufacturer, the recoil should therefore be significantly lower than that of other weapons with a caliber of 12.7 mm, which means that a muzzle brake can be dispensed with. The weapon is also said to be significantly lighter than other anti-materiel rifles of this caliber.
The weapon has a cocking lever on both sides . The bolt housing folds up and forward, instead of a single large return spring , the weapon has two smaller ones in parallel.
A handle is attached to the breech housing, the bipod is attached directly to the barrel. The shoulder rest can be folded down 90 ° and used as a ground spur .
The weapon has a modular structure and can therefore be easily modified and converted to the NATO caliber 12.7 × 99 mm .
