The Cabo Laure ( Spanish is) a chapter on the southeastern end of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies on the Neumayer Canal .
Argentine scientists named it after the highly decorated Argentine naval officer Diego Laure (1851-1931).
