Cabreiros is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Cabreiros belongs to the district of Braga in the same district Braga . The community had an area of 2.8 km² and 1556 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Cabreiros and Passos (São Julião) were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Cabreiros e Passos (São Julião) . Cabreiros is the seat of this newly formed community.
