Caecilia Metella (wife of Lentulus Spinther)
Caecilia Metella was a member of the ancient Roman plebeian dynasty of the Caecilians . It is not known who her parents were. She married Publius Cornelius Lentulus Spinther , the son of the consul of the same name from 57 BC. She is said to have lived very dissolute and to have been the lover of Publius Cornelius Dolabella , the suffect consul from 44 BC. And son-in-law of the speaker Marcus Tullius Cicero . Her marriage to Lentulus Spinther was 45 BC. Chr. Dissolved. She later became the wife of a son of the actor Aesopus.
