The California State Route 67 (abbreviated CA 67 ) is a state highway in the US state of California , which runs north-south direction.

The State Route begins on Interstate 8 in El Cajon and ends in Ramona on California State Route 78 . The road between El Cajon and Lakeside has been developed as a freeway and is called the San Vincente Freeway . In 2004 there were plans to expand the State Route as a freeway on further sections north of Lakeside. However, these plans were abandoned again. Furthermore, it was planned in 1964 to build the road to the eastern end of California State Route 56 . These considerations were also rejected.
