Cam Smith is a British comic book artist .

Life and work

Smith, who works mainly as an ink draftsman who reworks the preliminary pencil drawings of other artists, began his career as a full-time comic artist for the traditional British comic magazine 2000AD . His work on features such as Anima Firm (2000 AD # 1296-98), Big Game (2000AD # 1343-1344), The Dark Judges: Judge Fear's Big Day Out (Judge Dredd Megazine # 224), and Scare Tactics (# 1397-1399 ) finally brought Smith engagements in the US comic market.

For US publishers such as DC Comics , Wildstorm and Marvel Comics , he drew series such as Incredible Hulk , Bishop , X-Men (Marvel), Green Lantern , Detective Comics , Action Comics , Superman (DC) and Gen13 (Wildstorm). His most frequent partner was pencil artist Gary Frank .
