Camel Reproduction Center Dubai
The Camel Reproduction Center in Nakhali in Dubai is a research center for camel reproduction .
The center was founded in 1989 by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Dubai. The center became famous when the institute director Dr. Lulu Skidmore announced the birth of the first cloned camel. The camel calf Injaz was born there on April 8, 2009 as a clone of a mare slaughtered in 2005.
