Camila Alves
Camila Roberta Alves (born January 28, 1982 in Itambacuri , Minas Gerais ; real name Camila McConaughey ) is a Brazilian model and television presenter .
Life
Alves grew up in Belo Horizonte , Brazil and moved to California at the age of 15 . At 19, Alves moved to New York City and began working as a model. In addition to presenting fashion on the catwalk, Alves also worked for advertising campaigns for Dior , Chopard , Harley-Davidson , Levi's and Mango . In 2010 Alves took over the moderation of the US reality show Shear Genius .
Alves has been with actor Matthew McConaughey since 2007 , and Alves and McConaughey have been married since June 2012. The couple has three children (* 2008, * 2010 and * 2012).
