Camila Carraro Mendes (born June 29, 1994 in Charlottesville , Virginia ) is a Brazilian - American actress .

life and career

Camila Mendes was born in 1994 to Brazilian parents in Charlottesville and grew up with a sister mainly in Florida . At the age of ten she spent a year in Brazil. She graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts.

Mendes became known for the role of Veronica Lodge in the TV series Riverdale , in which she has been seen since January 2017.
