Camp des Îles Autonomes

Camp des Îles Autonomes (CdIA, English: Camp of the Autonomous Islands, Eng. "Camp of the Autonomous Islands") was a political alliance in the state of the Comoros . It campaigned for greater autonomy for the three islands and for greater powers for the governors of the individual islands.

history

The coalition was formed before the 2004 parliamentary elections and consisted of the Mouvement pour la Démocratie et le Progrès (MDP), the Front Démocratique des Comores (FDC), the Chama cha Upvamodja na Mugangna wa Massiwa (CHUMA, 'Party of Brotherhood and Unity of the Islands '), the Rassemblement National pour le Développement (RND) and the Parti Comrorien pour la Démocratie et le Progrès (PCDP).

The alliance won 12 of the 18 direct mandates in the 2015 elections, as well as all 15 of the indirectly elected seats.
