Campos is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Campos is part of the Vila Nova de Cerveira district in the Viana do Castelo district . The community had an area of 5.3 km² and 1367 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities of Campos and Vila Meã were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Campos e Vila Meã . Campos is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
