The Canalone Miramonti is a ski slope in Madonna di Campiglio in Italy .
The slope was designed by Bruno Detassis in 1940. It is best known for the slaloms it has been driving in the 3-tre races that have been held since 1950 . These slaloms have been part of the Alpine Ski World Cup since 1967, with some interruptions . In 1999 a floodlight system was installed on the Canalone Miramonti. Since then, the World Cup slaloms have mostly taken place as night races. The record winner of the World Cup slalom on the Canalone Miramonti is the Swede Ingemar Stenmark with five wins.
