Candara is a sans serif font. Together with Cambria , Calibri , Consolas , Constantia and Corbel, it forms a series of new fonts that are supplied with Microsoft's current operating systems and office products.
Because of its curved lines, Candara has a special position among the six fonts and is therefore more suitable for informal writing. It was designed by Gary Munch for Microsoft and contains the character sets Latin, Latin (extended), Greek and Cyrillic.
