Bernd Krückel (born August 10, 1964 in Waldenrath ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He is a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . Krückel is married and has two children.

Life

Krückel completed his school career in 1984 with the Abitur at the Cusanus Gymnasium Erkelenz . Between 1984 and 1987 he completed an apprenticeship as a specialist in tax and business advisory professions.

From July 1987 to September 1988 Krückel did his military service in the Air Force .

In addition to studying business administration at RWTH Aachen University , which he started in 1988 and graduated with a degree in business administration , Krückel worked as a tax clerk .

Since April 2003 Krückel has been an independent tax advisor .

In addition to his work as a tax consultant, Krückel was also a lecturer at chambers of industry and commerce, in particular in the context of tax training for accountants and insurance specialists as well as business start-ups in the business area and in the tax fundamentals as part of subsidy measures by the employment office .

In addition, Krückel has been an author for various specialist journals and association publications since 2001.

Bernd Krückel lives with his wife and two children in his native Waldenrath.

From 1979 to 1999 Krückel was a member of the Junge Union (JU). He was chairman of the city association and district chairman of the Junge Union (JU) in the district of Heinsberg .

Krückel has been a member of the CDU since 1981. Since November 2005 he has been chairman of the CDU district association Heinsberg and since 2011 deputy district chairman of the CDU district association Aachen.

In May 2005, Krückel was elected to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the first time in his constituency ( Heinsberg I ). In 2010 and 2012 he won the direct mandate again in his constituency. Since 2005, Krückel has represented the CDU parliamentary group in the budget and finance committee, the budget control committee and the state companies and special funds committee. Since 2012, he has been a member of the executive committee of the CDU as a finance officer.

In the state elections in 2017, Krückel was re-elected to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia and confirmed as the finance officer of the CDU state parliamentary group. He again represents the CDU parliamentary group in the budget and finance committee and in the budget control committee.

Others

Krückel is active on a voluntary basis and performed various activities in church committee work, e.g. B. as a member of the parish council and church council as well as the diocesan church tax council. He is currently a lecturer and communion helper in the home parish of St. Nikolaus Waldenrath. In addition, he was a member of the Caritas Council for the Heinsberg region and an advisory board of the Heinsberg JVA until 2017. In addition, Krückel is active in various charitable organizations and has been the second deputy chairman of the board of the pension fund since 2017.

Since March 1989 Krückel has been a member of the supervisory board of a medium-sized cooperative bank, in November 1994 he became the deputy chairman of the board and since 2004 he has been chairman of the board of the bank.
