The EOS-1N is a one-eyed miniature - reflex of the Japanese manufacturer Canon . It was launched in 1994 and was produced until 2000.

The camera can take up to 6 pictures per second. It has five autofocus measuring zones and a penta prism viewfinder that shows 100% of the image field. Shutter speeds between 1 / 8,000 s and 30 seconds are possible. The flash sync time is 1/250 s. There are also 14 custom functions.

Models / versions

  • The EOS-1N was also sold in a set with the High Speed ​​Booster PB-E1 . In this configuration, the name of the camera was "EOS-1N HS". A special version of the EOS-1N was the RS version. Thanks to a transparent fixed mirror, it was able to take up to ten images per second.
  • Several digital cameras were built on the basis of this camera. The first versions were almost unchanged standard EOS-1N housings with digital back panels from Kodak ( Kodak EOS DCS 1 , Kodak EOS DCS 3 , Kodak EOS DCS 5 ).
