The Canyon Lake is an elongated, irregularly shaped, 1 km long and between 50 and 100 m long lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is there in the Vestfold Mountains .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it that way in 1983 because the lake drains over Cataract Canyon .
