Naming

The name Cap Norfeu is taken from Greek mythology : The famous singer Orpheus sang along this stretch of coast with his ship, whereupon the Pyrenees approached him to listen to him. They lost their balance near the water and fell into the sea, creating this small peninsula, which has since been called the Cape of Orpheus .
