Capachica is one of the West in the Lake Titicaca outstanding peninsula . It is part of the national territory of Peru . The Peruvian island of Amantaní is located about 4 km east of the peninsula .
Infrastructure
The main towns on the headland are Uquisilla, Pucamayo and Negrone. The villages of Llachón, Santa Maria and Chifrón are located on the peninsula. The people in the villages live very traditionally; each village has its own shaman . In Capachica, tourism is still little known.
