Cape Plenty ( English for Cape Abundance ) is a cape at the southeast end of Gibbs Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . The cape is at the end of the Furse Peninsula .
Participants of the British Joint Services Expedition to Elephant Island Group (1976–1977) visited the Cape in January 1977. They named it because of the nutrient-rich deep water that rises here and attracts numerous Antarctic seabirds .
