The Capella Rocks are a low and rocky mountain ridge in the west of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . They rise 3 km northeast of the Auriga Nunatakker near the head end of the Bertram Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on July 21, 1976 after Capella , the main star in the constellation of the Carter .
