Troubas hangovers are a Swiss dialect - band from Bern . The formation around rapper and singer QC , originally planned for street music , was founded in 2015.

Band history

The band was founded in 2015 in Bern. The band name consists of two parts: Troubas is a blend of words from the areas of influence of the band, including the words tuba , trumpet , troubadour . The word hangover comes from the fact that QC took a year off before the band was founded, after whose return he described his emotional state as a hangover . He founded the band to process his impressions of the world tour through North , Central and South America . QC noticed that many regions around the world have bands with their very own sound that is characteristic of the region. The thought of how his region ( Bern , Seeland ) would sound like the impetus for the band.

The guitarist and producer Matthias Urech took up the idea and helped find a suitable line-up of musicians. Together with QC he produced the first songs for the new group. After that the band wanted to perform mainly as a street musician, but after a few appearances received offers for concerts at festivals .

On October 31, 2015, Troubas Kater's debut album entitled Damned November was released . Shortly afterwards, in January 2016, the band was nominated as Best Talent for the Swiss Music Award .

On April 7, 2017, the second album was released with the title Aber morn… .
