The language Cara (ISO 639-3: cfd; also chara, fachara, fakara, nfachara, pakara, tariya, tera, teriya, terri) is a platoid language from the group of the central plateau languages and is used by a total of 3,000 people in the village Teriya in the Nigerian state of plateau spoken.

It is the only representative of the north-central subgroup of the plateau languages. Most speakers also use Haussa [hau] and English [eng].
