The Carcelles Peak is a 1,065 m high mountain in Georgia . It rises just south of the head of Moraine Fjord .
The South Georgia Survey mapped it as part of its 1951-1957 survey campaign. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after the Argentine biologist Alberto Carcelles, who collected specimens for the National Museum in Buenos Aires in South Georgia from 1926 to 1927 and from 1929 to 1930 .
