The Cardell Glacier is a glacier on the Loubet coast of Antarctic Graham Land . It flows between Shanty Point and the Panther Cliff into the Ensenada Aguayo , a side bay of Darbel Bay .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957 were used by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey for mapping. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 after the British eye surgeon John Douglas Magor Cardell (1896–1966) who developed the first modern snow goggles .
