Carl-Friedrich Geyer

Carl-Friedrich Geyer (born October 23, 1949 in Schillingen , Trier ) is a German professor of philosophy . His main research interests are the history of philosophy, philosophy of time, social and political philosophy, ontology, philosophy of religion, ethics and philosophy of culture.

Life

From 1994 Geyer was an adjunct professor at the Ruhr University in Bochum . In 1997 he received a call to the theological faculty in Paderborn . In the same year Archbishop Johannes Joachim Degenhardt banned him from teaching because he had separated from his wife. Geyer then moved to the Bethel Church University , where he taught until his retirement in 2015.
