Carl Adolf Vogel
Carl Adolf Vogel (born December 17, 1906 in Hof (Saale) ; † September 16, 1993 in Tegernsee ), also "Ady Vogel", "Consul Vogel" or "Salt Baron" was a German entrepreneur .
Vogel had risen through the sale of evaporated salt enriched with additives . This enabled him to acquire the Goldener Hirsch hotels in Salzburg and Schloss Fuschl .
He was married to the actress Winnie Markus .
