Carl Ahl

Carl Wilhelm Ferdinand Ahl (born February 3, 1845 in Dohnsen , † October 13, 1921 in Berlin ) was a German singer.

He was married to Bertha Boës (1839-1919). His son was Georg Ahl . Ahl went to the United States in 1890 with his wife and children for several years , where he appeared as a tenor in larger cities and took over the direction of a larger choral society in Pittsburgh as a singing and music teacher .

Later he was active as a singer, singing teacher and conductor in Berlin . One of his students was Otto Parey.
